In her most recent film, Chicas Nuevas 24 horas (New Girls 24-7: http://www.proyectochicasnuevas24horas.com) Lozano illustrates another form of violence against women, that of enslavement and trafficking of young Latin American women to prostitution rings in Europe (Spain).  Lozano's documentary has received international recognition, been awarded several prizes (Avanzadoras de Oxfam Intermon, Premio del Festival de Cine de Málaga, Cruz al Mérito de la Policía Nacional) and perhaps most significantly, the filmmaker has travelled across Latin America to educate young women about the workings of these illegal rings and to undermine the false promise of prosperity pledged to women in dire economic situations.
