Latinx Heritage Month 2016 Presents: Día de Muertos

This month "La Casa" is collaborating with the Latinx Heritage Month committee, OPAL, and La Alianza Latina in the "Día de Muertos" festivities.

Wednesday, October 26: Making tissue flowers for the Baker-Berry Altar at "La Casa" from 4:30-6:00pm. Come join us at the "La Casa" Altar to learn about this tradition and have some Chocolate, arroz con leche y arepas.

Sunday, October 30:  Altar setting at the Baker-Berry Corredor. From 1:00 to 4:00pm we will be arranging the Altar. Everybody is welcome to join us.

Tuesday, November 1:  The Book of Life film screening, decorating sugar skulls, and traditional treats from 6:30-9:00pm at One Wheelock.

Wednesday, November 2: Día de Muertos Celebration at the Baker-Berry Corredor. The event starts at 5:30 pm followed by a candlelit procession to LALACS. Traditional food will be served.
