Lecturer and Writer Kianny Antigua Wins Literary Award

Professor Kianny Antigua won first prize in a literary contest in the Dominican Republic for her book of short stories Las puertas se hicieron para cerrarse.

On August 12th, the winners were granted prizes for their works in the Literary Contest of Short Stories, Poetry, and Essays that takes place each year in Dominican Republic. The judges unanimously chose Professor Antigua's work as the first prize.

Her book Elementos also won first prize in a different contest in January of 2016.
