The Dallet Prize honors Joseph Dallet, Jr. ’27 who was killed in action in Saragossa, Spain, in 1937, while serving as the political command of the Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion of Canadian-United States anti-fascist volunteers. Up to four prizes are awarded by the faculty to graduating majors for excellence in Spanish and Portuguese.
