Assistant Professor Ingrid Brioso Rieumont's Nomination for the NEH Summer Stipend

We are pleased to share that Assistant Professor Ingrid Brioso Rieumont has been selected by Dartmouth as the institutional nominee for the prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Stipend. This nomination supports her ongoing work on the monograph The Edges of Slavery: Pre-birth and the Post-mortem in 19th-Century Cuba and Brazil.

Each year, Dartmouth nominates one project from among the competing tenured and tenure-track faculty in the Arts and Sciences to represent the institution in this highly competitive process.
