Primeras Jornadas America & Spain 250

Professor José M. del Pino participated in the "Primeras Jornadas America & Spain 250. Conmemorando los doscientos cincuenta años de las relaciones entre España y Estados Unidos 1776-2026", celebrated in Madrid on May 23-24. The panel in which he intervened examined the current situation and challenges of teaching Spanish and the literature and culture of Spain and Latin America in the United States today. The other participant in the panel were Elizabeth Wright (University of Georgia), Laura Bass (Brown University), and Antonio Feros (University of Pennsylvania). The event was organized by the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute (New York) and the Fundación Ramón Areces (Madrid).
