Social Justice Award

FUERZA Farmworkers' Fund was awarded the 2024 Social Justice Award by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity. 

We are pleased to share with you the exciting news that the FUERZA Farmworkers' Fund, an organization that Maria Clara De Greiff co-founded with three former students from La Casa has been selected to receive the 2024 Student Organization Award as part of the Dartmouth Social Justice Awards. This award honors the dedication exhibited in aiding migrant laborers within our Upper Valley community, offering crucial support in healthcare accessibility, language proficiencv development, and financial barrier alleviation.

The Division of Institutional Diversity and Equity at Dartmouth announced that is thrilled to honor this student organization for its commitment to social justice and for exemplifying the mission and values of Dartmouth. 

To celebrate all awardees, there will be a Social Justice Awards in-person ceremony on May 1.

The Student Organization Award honors a student group for its commitment to promoting social justice in our community and beyond.
