Linears at Dartmouth

The Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese invites the public to a conversation and exhibit open with Ricardo Liniers Siri. Liniers work will be part of the Baker-Berry library exhibit.

Ricardo Liniers Siri is an acclaimed Argentine comic artist, writer, publisher and illustrator. He has illustrated 6 of The New Yorker covers between 2014 and 2016 as well as several record covers and a poster for the Oscar nominated movie Wild Tales. Liniers has over 3600 published comic strips and 25 books publihsed in spanish. Many of his books have been translated and published in over 10 countries including Brasil, Canada, France, Spain, China, and the United States. His collection of comic strips and children's books have received international acclaim, including an Eisner Award nomination.

Liniers will be conducting a public conversation in 041 Halderman on March 1, 2017. Recpetion to follow at Baker- Berry Library for exhibit opening.
