Angie Cruz, Assistant Professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh, founder and editor of the journal Aster(ix), and author will lead a conference called "Writer's Debt" on October 19th as part of LatinX Cultural Expressions.

She has authored two novels, Soledad and Let It Rain Coffee, and has published short fiction and essays in magazines and journals, including Callaloo, The New York Times, and Kweli. She is currently at work on her third novel.

The conference will take place on Wednesday October 19th, in Rocky 002 from 5:45 to 7:15PM.

Sponsored by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Leslie Center for the Humanities, the Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies Program, the Department of English, and the Gender Research Institute at Dartmouth.
