A course on the literary craftsmanship of the great Argentine post-Boom novelist, Manuel Puig, author of the famed novel The Kiss of the Spider Woman. It weighs the function of personalized narrative technics such as documental narration, objectivism, camera zoom, blocked dialogue, a character’s other Ego - all of which granted Puig the reputation of being one of most innovative authors of the twentieth century worldwide. This course will also compare film adaptations of his novels to his written works.
